Exhibition at Sweden’s leading travel trade fair
We at Nordic Travel Rep. are proud of our clients and to make sure they stay top of mind among the Swedish travel trade and all relevant agents, we attended the Travel News Market at Radisson Waterfront in Stockholm.

Travel News Market is the leading travel trade event in Sweden and had 225 registered exhibitors from all over the world, 1300 registered visitors and 1000 pre booked one to one meeting. The visitors are top decision makers, experts, buyers and professionals from every area within the tourism value added chain.

It is a great opportunity to update existing partners, meet new contacts and raise awareness of our clients. Nordic Travel Rep. had its own stand, where we represented our clients and met with key partners. The day gave great visibility, new contacts, start up with agents for contracting and generation of new prospects and leads.
Fam trip to luxury Greek resort
To increase the sales numbers within the MICE segment in Norway for our client Grand Resort Lagonissi and to support the national airline carrier, Aegean Airlines, to increase numbers of flights from Oslo to Athens, we organized a fam trip to the resort.

The trip provided the MICE agents with great knowledge of the Athens Riviera, with support from the DMC, Elve Tours, as well as the airline, through a creative itinerary and outdoor team building activities with a sustainable focus.
Fam trip to Adaaran Resorts
To increase sales numbers from new contracted partners across Sweden as well as to educate and have them know more about the resorts, we coordinated a fam trip on behalf of our client Adaaran resorts.

The trip was a great success, providing the partners with great knowledge of the four different hotel island in the Maldives.

The fam trip was in cooperation with Emirates Airlines and Elevate DMC.
Swedish influencer couple explore the Maldives
To create awareness of Adaaran Resorts among Swedish consumers, we coordinated an influencer visit with the Swedish influencer couple Erik Forsgren and Victoria Tornegren.

The two explored the two of Adaaran Resorts’ properties with their children, playing on the beach, visiting the kids clubs and spent time discovering the world beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean.

Combined, the visit resulted in 12 grid posts and reels and 75 stories on their Instagram accounts, ensuring a reach of 968,413 and 76,705 engagements.
Danish travel podcast visit the Maldives for the first time
To emphasize to Danish consumers that a holiday in the Maldives is anything but boring, we coordinated a media visit for the Danish travel podcast Børn i Bagagen. The podcast focus on travelling with kids, when the hosts Pelle and Caroline Hvenegaard bring their daughter with them on their adventures all over the world.

They first stayed at Adaaran Meedhupparu where they mainly spent their time in the water, where they spotted sting rays, sharks and sea turtles. After that, they went to Adaaran Hudhuranfushi, where they explored the kids club, the resort’s amazing restaurants and went on a guided tour to a local island.

In total, they posted 95 stories, resulting in 8,6M impressions and 16 posts and reels, resulting in 985,000 impressions. They also produced two podcast episodes.

Trainings and Incentives for trade partners
Making sure our partners are well updated on our product is a must to achieve a high ROI. Together with leading airlines, we executed trainings and sales educations for a several clients of ours, making sure they are updated on the product, have all updated material that they need and have confident with selling it. At the same time as the trainings were held, we trolled out an incentive, to motivate the sales agents to sell more during a certain period of time.

The result of the project was great, an increase of bookings during the time of the incentive was measured.
With our broad experience of coming from the travel agent side, we know the value of sales competition. We therefore initiative, together with Emirates, to roll an incentive competition together with a travel agency in Sweden, with a several departments (group, M&E and leisure) and stores across Sweden.

The objective was to increase sales within that agency to our client, and the outcome in terms of sales numbers during the period we had the incentive, we received an increase of bookings.
In combination with a exhibition taking place in the market, we decided to gather our key trade partners to host a inspiring lunch, along with networking, engagements and presentation. The event took place in a combination with the exhibition, to ensure we got the highest ROI in terms of agents attending. The result was high, and we secured all travel agencies, tour operators and key media that was planned for the event.
Hybrid Event
Hybrid events remove attendance barriers and geographic limitations, while also offering a built-in contingency plan for flexibility. We wanted to reach out to all of the four Nordic countries at the same time and therefore initiated to host a hybrid event were we also have the management team from our client to attend the event.

The result was highly appreciated by the agents, as they also got a face of the management team, building relationship and raising the awareness of the product.
