SALES INITIATIVES FOR GREEK LUXURY RESORT

Nordic Travel Rep. has increased awareness of Grand Resort Lagonissi among the Nordic travel trade through activities such as sales calls and email campaigns.

 

As Nordic representative for the Greek luxury resort Grand Resort Lagonissi, since March 2017 Nordic Travel Rep. ongoingly works to increase awareness of the hotel among the Nordic consumers and travel trade with the aim of increasing the number of Nordic visitors at the resort. Furthermore, we push to position the resort within the Nordic MICE and leisure travel industry.

As the resort’s brand was not well-known in the Nordics, branding and awareness have been the main focuses during the first years. In addition to sales activities, we have engaged in a number of PR activities, such as press releases and press/influencer trips. We have also organized email campaigns to leisure and MICE tour operators as well as fam trips to the resort for the Nordic travel trade.

We continuously do sales calls to the most important tour operators and MICE buyers in the Nordics, making sure Grand Resort Lagonissi is top of mind with the decision-makers.

The initiatives have resulted in both a raised awareness of the resort among the travel industry, an increased number of Nordic visitors from 2017 to 2018 as well as a number of leads received from trade partners.
